These terms apply to bookings and services offered through Verena’s Soul Radiance.

1. The nature of my work

I currently offer two services:

Angelic Reiki

and

Angelic Reiki + Soul Reflection

Angelic Reiki is offered as a complementary spiritual and energy practice.

Soul Reflection provides personalised journalling prompts to support your own reflection following an Angelic Reiki session.

Neither service is medical treatment, psychological therapy, counselling or a substitute for advice or treatment from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

I do not diagnose medical or mental health conditions, prescribe treatment or promise particular outcomes from Reiki or Soul Reflection.

If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, please seek appropriate professional support.

2. Booking and payment

Session details, prices and what is included are shown on the website or booking page before you book.

Your booking is confirmed once the booking process and any required payment have been completed.

Please check that the information you provide when booking, including your email address, is correct.

3. Cancellations and rescheduling

I understand that plans sometimes change.

If you need to move or cancel your appointment, please give at least 24 hours’ notice wherever possible.

Outside any statutory cancellation rights you may have, late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a reasonable cancellation charge, up to the value of the session, where I am unable to refill the appointment.

I will always apply this reasonably and recognise that genuine unexpected circumstances happen.

If I need to cancel your appointment, you will be offered another date or a full refund.

Your statutory right to cancel

If you book a service online, by email or through another form of distance communication, you may have a legal right to cancel the contract within 14 days of booking without giving a reason.

If your appointment is due to take place within those 14 days, you may be asked to confirm that you would like the service to begin during the cancellation period.

Where a service has been fully provided during that period following the appropriate request and acknowledgement, your statutory right to cancel may come to an end.

Nothing in my own cancellation policy removes or reduces any rights you have under UK consumer law.

4. Angelic Reiki + Soul Reflection

Angelic Reiki + Soul Reflection includes your Angelic Reiki experience and additional time I spend after your session creating your personalised journalling prompts.

If my booking system shows a 75-minute allocation for this service, this includes my post-session preparation time. It does not mean that the whole 75 minutes is spent together in a live Reiki appointment.

After your session, I create your personalised Soul Reflection prompts and send them to the email address you provided when booking.

The prompts are reflective invitations created from what you have shared. They are not therapy, diagnosis or professional psychological advice, and they are not intended to tell you what your Reiki experience means.

They are yours to explore in your own way and in your own time.

5. Online sessions

Online Angelic Reiki sessions take place remotely.

You are responsible for choosing somewhere reasonably quiet and comfortable where you can safely receive your session without needing to drive, operate equipment or attend to anything requiring your full attention.

If technical difficulties significantly interrupt an online appointment, we will agree a reasonable way forward, which may include reconnecting, rescheduling the affected part of the session or arranging another suitable solution.

6. Your choices and responsibility

My sessions are intended to offer a gentle space for Reiki and reflection.

You remain responsible for your own choices, decisions and actions both during and following a session.

Nothing I share during a session or through Soul Reflection should be treated as medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any responsibility or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

7. My work and intellectual property

The original content I create for Verena’s Soul Radiance — including website copy, written material, newsletter content and Soul Reflection prompts — remains my intellectual property unless otherwise stated.

Personalised Soul Reflection prompts are created for your personal reflective use.

You are welcome to write with them, print them and keep them for yourself.

Please do not reproduce, publish, sell, teach from or commercially distribute my written material or personalised prompts without my permission.

8. Privacy

I respect your privacy and aim to keep the personal information you share with me safe and used only for appropriate purposes.

Information I may collect

Depending on how you interact with Verena’s Soul Radiance, this may include:

your name
your email address and contact details
booking and appointment information
information you choose to share with me before, during or after a session
payment records
your newsletter preferences

Payment card information is handled by the relevant payment provider and is not stored by me in full.

Why I use your information

I use personal information where it is necessary to:

respond to enquiries
arrange, administer and provide booked services
communicate with you about your appointment
create and email Soul Reflection prompts where you have booked that service
process and maintain appropriate payment and financial records
send my newsletter where you have chosen to subscribe

The lawful basis I rely on will depend on why the information is being used. This may include performance of our contract, compliance with legal obligations and your consent where consent is appropriate.

If you voluntarily share sensitive information, such as information relating to your health or wellbeing, I will only use it where necessary for the purpose for which you provided it and where there is an appropriate lawful basis for doing so.

Joining my newsletter is optional and is separate from booking a session.

I will only send marketing or newsletter emails where I have an appropriate legal basis to do so.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option in the email or by contacting me.

Services that may process your information

I use third-party services where needed to run Verena’s Soul Radiance, which may include:

Wix for my website, forms and bookings
Microsoft Outlook for email
Zoom for online sessions
payment providers and banking services
the email/newsletter platform used to deliver my newsletter

I do not sell your personal information.

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, personal information is handled subject to the data-protection safeguards applicable to those providers.

How long I keep information

I keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or where I am required to retain it for legal, accounting or tax purposes.

Newsletter information is retained while you remain subscribed or as otherwise required to maintain appropriate records of your preferences.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights including the right to:

access personal information I hold about you
ask for inaccurate information to be corrected
ask for information to be deleted in certain circumstances
restrict or object to certain uses of your information
request data portability where applicable
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

9. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms occasionally to reflect changes to my services, website or legal requirements.

The latest version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in these terms affects any statutory consumer rights that apply to you.

Optional cancellation form

You do not have to use this form, but you can use it if you wish to exercise a statutory right to cancel.
